The Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI) of the University of Maryland is the state's training and education system for all-hazard responses. The Institute plans, researches, develops and delivers quality programs to prepare agencies and individuals to protect life, property and the environment.

MFRI uses Silent Partner Technologies IntelliView Inventory and Asset Tracking solution. This enables them to track capital assets within all of their campuses and fleet vehicles. The use case is purely misplaced or un-returned items. As an example, enclosed trailers are sent to a site for training purposes and in some instances not all of the assets are returned with the trailer. The non-returned items then turns into countless hours of trying to find these missing items.  However, with the IntelliView Solution you can know 24/7 exactly what is the trailer with a Fixed Reader. Or use a Mobile Reader for on-the-spot reconciliation. These new processes will significantly improve the visibility of all Assets.  This will also dramatically improve overall efficiency.
